Following up from the 2018 film Homeless in Modesto, Homeless in Modesto II is a new documentary from Fog Light Media and Richard Anderson, PhD explores the evolution of local homeless stories and services over the past seven years.
Specifically, it examines the conditions of Modesto's unhoused population, the community services available to them, and investigates how local officials are addressing the situation.
All ticket proceeds from the November 13, 2025 premiere benefited Family Promise of Greater Modesto. The event was emceed by Sam Pierstorff.
